i got my paint on...

those of you that know me in real life know i'm not only cheap, broke and a coupon clipper but i'm also very picky. i don't think i've been this way my whole life, but who knows. :)

so i went to mike's this weekend (my favorite neighborhood craft store) picked up some $1.00 wooden picture frames and a few bottles of the on-sale $.50 paint and went to work. here's what i came up with:

i figure i'll stick nora's ultrasound picture in this one until after she's born. and then there's this one:

i'm going to stick a picture of my dad in this one. he passed away in october 2008, just 13 short days after we learned we were pregnant with nora. :( but i know he's watching out for her. :)
