so i ordered my crib. yayyy! i got a killer deal on black friday and i bit the bullet and ordered it up. i'm in absolute love. it's going to look fan-freakin-tastic in my nursery.
i ordered it from jcpenney and it was on back-order so it was supposed to take 8-10 weeks. no problem since in 8-10 weeks i'll be justr over half way through my pregnancy. (ok... i know, i ordered a little early. but i'm a bargain shopper).
anyway - penney's called on friday to let us know it's in. wellll... ummm... the nursery is kevin's computer room and is still officially a disaster area. in every sense of the word. and - i was going to ask my awesome brother-in-law if he'd pick it up with his truck but i just haven't gotten around to it.
so i call penneys tonight and tell them that although i'm very grateful it's in - i wasn't expecting it for awhile and since it's -19 below and almost christmas could they pretty please hold it until after the holidays?
then the customer service lady asked me where i lived. strange, but ok... i'll tell you. and i did. turns out she lives in the condo building next to mine (same street, same subdivision) and offers to deliver it after work tomorrow night. you've got to be kidding me! i told her that sure was a lot to ask... but she insisted and said she'd rather get it the crap out of her warehouse so she didn't have to work around it until after the holidays.
awesome. you just don't find people that will do stuff like that anymore. i love montana. :) i, apparently, have awesome neighbors! whooo hoooooo! :)
